
The FR 102 is a high payload UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System) with a last generation autopilot system, a custom soft wing, 2 GPS and a reliable data link.
The FR102 UAS boasts an outstanding payload capacity of 250 Kg, for a duration that can reach 20h depending on the payload. This makes of the FR102 one of the most versatile systems on the market, embarking a great variety of mission-specific modules: cameras, IR sensors, droppable cargo or even a human pilot for particularly sensitive missions. Video footages and flight datas are saved on board and transmitted to the ground, where they are analysed and interpreted by the ground station.

Automatic take-off
Thanks to a system of automatic aid to take-off, the nose wheel maintain the aircraft in a straight line, and the autopilot leads the wing according to the aircraft environment (wind force). Redundant on-board electronics
On-board computer, modems, most sensors and radios are redundant. They are secured against external interferences thanks to an electromagnetic armour.

During manual control of the aircraft, the piloting software prevents the pilot from performing inadequate manoeuvres and getting the FR102 and himself in potentially dangerous situations.
- Smart management of the communication between the FR102 and the ground station
In case of temporary loss of radio signal, the FR102 automatically takes altitude to increase its radio visibility. In case of permanent loss of radio signal, it initiates a pre-programmed sequence to land safely.
- Safety parachute
Even in the very unlikely circumstance of complete loss of control of the wing, a ballistic parachute system will bring the FR102 and its payload safely to the ground.
